Deadline to Apply May 1st, 2014
- Interviews will be featured bi-weekly on our blog leading up to the 2014 exhibit and ride-out in July.
- We are looking for artists in the metro Vancouver area who engage with their communities in a variety of ways.
- Interviews will be held mid-May to July with selected artists at their studio/creative space, and will include a fun photo session!
- We ask that interviewed artists agree to donate at least one piece of (rollable) art to Papergirl Vancouver, for our annual exhibit and ride-out.
Papergirl is an inclusive, non-commercial art project that welcomes artists of all ages and abilities to participate by donating their work. The art is exhibited in a non-juried exhibit at the Roundhouse Community Arts Centre, then rolled into bundles and distributed by cyclists to anyone they meet along specific bike routes around the lower Mainland. Our goal is to connect people in creative ways to celebrate art and the spirit of altruism.
