It was exciting to learn about the wonderful work Vancouver Biennale are doing in the schools, and their celebration of art in public spaces. Much like Papergirl Vancouver, the Vancouver Biennale strives to bring people together through the arts and open dialogue about art; oh and they also have a love for bikes! Today was an exciting day for Papergirl Vancouver as we had the chance to visit the Vancouver Biennale office; the space vibrant with their signature neon yellow and pink, amazing art, and creative energy! Michele and Eryne had the chance to speak with Katherine Tong, former board member and Program Manager for the Big Ideas Arts in Action program and Barrie Mowatt founder and president.
