Papergirl Vancouver is an inclusive, non-commercial art project that brings people together in celebration of art and community in an unconventional way: through the spirit of altruism.
In this annual project, artists of all ages and abilities are invited to donate their work to a non-juried exhibition. Afterward, the artwork is rolled into bundles and is distributed by a team of cyclists (in the style of the American paperboy) to anyone they meet along specific bike routes around Vancouver.
We are looking for team members for 2014! In joining our dynamic member of dedicated volunteers you will help bring Papergirl: Art of Giving Art to the people of Vancouver.

Website Administrator Role Description: Looking for a dedicated individual who has a deep interest and passion for the arts. If you're a fast-learner looking to develop your skills in online website software management and even google analytics, then the Website Administrator position for Papergirl Vancouver is the right fit for you! You'll be working with a group of individuals who are also passionate about the arts and connecting the community through the arts. Your main responsibility will be managing the Papergirl Vancouver website, updating the content, blog posts, and look of the site when necessary.

- Attend our Team Kick off meeting March 13th
- Be able to commit 5-10 volunteer hours from March 13-August 8th 2014
- Attend a monthly team meeting and report back to the team on their progress
- Use our online project management system. We will train you on this at our kick off meeting
- Be able to attend 3 of the 5 core events in July. We will discuss this at our team kick off meeting

- Work with Social Media Team Members in creating and publishing weekly or bi-weekly blogposts concerning the arts
- Ensuring the Papergirl Vancouver website is up to date and fully functioning
- Create and edit content pertaining to Papergirl Vancouver's initiatives such as events, workshops, and/or community outreach
- Assist fellow team-members in utilizing the website software
Deliverables:
- Maintain the look and feel of the Papergirl website
- Update the website in correlation with the on-going Papergirl initiatives
- Effectively utilize the Papergirl website as a tool of communication to our audience
Skills and Experience:
- Willingness to learn the website administration software
- Proficiency in communications, website content editing, and/or blog-posting
- Ability to work efficiently with fellow team members
- Self-motivated, assertive, and willing to work independently
